What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
General Pest Control covers the pest treatment and prevention work described in your estimate or service agreement. Depending on the approved scope, that may include inspection, identifying common pest activity, and applying or recommending appropriate control measures.
It does not automatically include repairs, cleanup, exclusion work, wildlife removal, or treatment for pests not named in the agreement. Specialized services, including termite, bed bug, or mosquito treatment, require separate written approval when they are not listed in your scope.
We follow applicable pesticide requirements, including Wisconsin Statute Chapter 94, Wisconsin Administrative Code ATCP 29, and FIFRA label directions. Commercial pesticide applications are performed by appropriately certified personnel, including Wisconsin Category 7.1 certification when required.
Customers must follow applicable EPA container-disposal instructions; pesticide residues may also be subject to RCRA hazardous-waste rules. Wisconsin DATCP and DNR requirements apply as relevant. OSHA requirements and Milwaukee Health Department rules may also apply to particular work.
Booking, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method we make available. We confirm the planned service and any access instructions with you.
Please provide accurate contact details and ensure an adult can give access when the appointment requires it. If you need to cancel or change a visit, contact us as soon as possible and before the scheduled arrival time.
Any cancellation fee or other charge applies only if it was disclosed in your estimate or service agreement.
A requested change to the pests treated, areas accessed, or work performed may change the price or appointment length. We will explain the proposed change and obtain your approval before doing work outside the agreed scope.
If weather, safety concerns, access problems, or another condition prevents service, we may reschedule and will make reasonable efforts to notify you. A new appointment is subject to availability. Please secure pets and follow any preparation instructions we provide before the visit.
Estimates, Charges, and Payment
We provide an estimate or written service agreement describing the work and its charge before service begins. An estimate is based on the information available at the time; hidden conditions or a change in the requested work may require a revised quote.
We will explain the change and obtain your approval before proceeding with added work. You are not required to accept a proposed change.
Payment is due according to the timing and method stated in your estimate or agreement. Any applicable taxes, deposits, or disclosed fees will be shown there; no price or financing arrangement is promised by these terms alone.
If the agreement does not specify a payment deadline, ask us to clarify it before authorizing service. Please raise a billing question promptly so we can review the estimate and service record.
Payment does not change the agreed scope, and additional work requires your approval. We do not charge for unapproved services.
What Our Service Commitments Cover
Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service promise applies only when it is stated in your written estimate or service agreement. That document identifies the covered pest or work, the period of coverage, and any steps you must take to request follow-up service. These terms do not create a separate warranty period or promise that pests will never return.
Coverage may not apply to conditions outside the agreed treatment, including new pest entry, untreated areas, structural problems, or failure to follow preparation and follow-up instructions. We will review the facts and the written agreement before deciding whether a requested return visit falls within coverage.
Contact us promptly if activity continues or returns, and describe where and when you observed it. We will explain any available next steps and any charge before performing additional work. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent allowed by law, Wisconsin Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This limit does not apply where the law prohibits limiting responsibility, including for liability that cannot legally be excluded. It does not remove any consumer rights that apply to you.
Pesticides are used only as permitted by applicable law and their labeling. Wisconsin Statute Chapter 94, ATCP 29, and FIFRA requirements govern pesticide use; applicable Wisconsin commercial applicator certification, including Category 7.1 where required, also applies.
Disposal must follow EPA container instructions and applicable waste rules. RCRA requirements for pesticide residues depend on the material and circumstances.
This section does not excuse either party from following applicable requirements set by Wisconsin DATCP, EPA, or other authorities.

Daniel Mercer
Service Expert at Wisconsin Pest Solutions
I started in pest control in the Milwaukee area, learning to inspect older homes, basements, and multifamily buildings for the entry points pests use. Wisconsin’s cold winters and warm, humid summers taught me to plan for seasonal shifts and to explain treatment choices clearly to homeowners.
